What informed consent means when you're having treatment in hospital. Before you agree to a treatment, you have the right to understand what it is, its good and bad sides, and your other choices. The animation explains that it's okay to ask questions and to have an interpreter, Aboriginal Liaison Officer, health worker or family with you. You don't have to say yes. If you agree, you will sign a form, and you can still change your mind later and keep being cared for.

We work with language centres and health services to translate our animations and brochures. Tell us which topics and languages matter to your clinic or community.
